After hearing that I got selected in the final stage of audition, the next level was Round 2 - PD Retreat & National Selections.
As I mentioned in my early post, this round is Personal Enhancement Programme Retreat in Port Dickson. I have no clue whats the agenda all about until we were briefed.
This camp is a rustic/no frills retreat. That means, staying in dorms, no hot showers basically we lived literally like a scout girls.
Morning about 7.30am the bus leaved PJ to Port Dickson and that's where I met all these 47+ girls in the bus. We got to know each other and the first person came up to me and introduced herself was this girl name ManiMolli. Arrival at Rotary Sunshine camp at 9am ish and we started the Ice breaking sessions, building up self esteem, Job Interview Skills and Tips by Ms.Sandhya.
The activities were like back to back, due to heavy activities in just 1 day practically.
After lunch break, we had Ms. Mohanaapriyas on Poise & Deportment ( Catwalk) , Self Defence by Aikido Shudokan Malaysia, Dance & Movement were cancelled, the most amazing was the Sustainability Environment talk by Yasmin Rasyid from Eco Knights.
After all the talks we did a Miss MalaysiaIndian Global Charity nest as part of the contribution to the community we presented some groceries items to the Mang Tha Community.
Oh yes, the girls were looking super hot and gorgeous. I met beautiful souls on earth, nice and kind to me especially since it was our first meet up, Manimolli were really closed and kind to me. She is such a awesome girl and keep cracking jokes made to realize how I missed my laughs and I found it there. That much of fun we had in just 2 days friendship.
During the evening at 5pm, we headed to the beach and we cleaned up and made us realize that how important is our mother nature to be taken care.
During the beach clean up, we found things which is TOO dangerous such as drug addicts needle, the container of fluid, glass pieces, iron rod. We had a hard time because its not easy to clean the beach but we gained alot.
During the night, we were told to do a Presentation of our group regarding the beach clean up and ended up pretty well.
The next day, is the most hilarious. We had the 3km Port Dickson Charity Beach Run in the morning and we even featured in Tamil news paper. We had an amazing time and congratulation to the winners. The run was organised by Port Dickson Athletic Association & Miss MalaysiaIndia Care Association.
Then we headed to our camp had a fantabulous breakfast and got ready for the National Selection at Selesa Hotel, Port Dickson.
The National Selections were interviewed individually by four judges and we got to do our final cat walk. I was nervous at first but during the interview I answered pretty well and caught judges mind.
47 ladies got interviewed but we will only know the result after 2 days from the National Selections.
The day ended with full of doubts and nervousness and finally we bus leaves to PJ,. back to homeland..!
The Result : 32 was shortlisted from the National Selections by states. I'm glad that I made to the next level which is the Round 3 - Talent Round.
