Gosh, for the first time life was looking so different when I was in Singapore for 2 weeks. I went to take care of my uncle who is on medication, basically fully bed rest. He is just 51 yrs old but the sickness that his going thru in this age is totally miserable. Let me give you a list, at first he was a diabetic patient then slowly his left ear gone deaf, kidney failure, both eye blurry and on top of it recently he had a operation on his head because there were found stone on his head and due to this he gotta stroke and he can't walk.
The reason I came to singapore was because of his wife who is going to india for her sister's daughter's wedding and she need some one to take care of him and they don't have kids. The first day I came to singapore I was taught how to handle him from A to Z. At first I thought it may not look difficult to understand his needs but it turned so difficult later. My job is basically giving his medication on time and feeding him as well. The worst was sending him to the bathroom and carrying him and settle him on his wheel chair, fuhhhhhh.
Furthermore, most of the alternative days I got to drop him in diaylsis centre which I gotta wake up at 5am. Not to forget, I even learn how to inject him, every morning I gotta like give him this insulin injection thingy for his diabetes. Most of the time he will be sleeping and it doesn't annoys anyone. I never thought I would do all this but I managed some how. Hmmm....
Every single day seems to be so boring because there were no internet connection, tv programmes was sucks. and I can't even go out anywhere. This been a great challenge for me because handling a patient and living a life without necessities were so different had lots of experience.
Later on, 5 days before my aunty comes back my sisters gave a surprise visit and I finally i got chance to step out from the house, I went to mustafa centre and had a great lunch with my sister's and grandma at Anjappar opposite Mustafa. Then 4 days before my aunty comes back my uncle's health was not too good till he was admitted in the Hospital. I was feeling so sad and worried, thank god everything is fine now once his wife is back on Wednesday.
The best part here was my bus to klang is on friday morning so we got the whole Thursday to go around singapore. As usual we sister's planned and we left the house at 6pm. We went to Orchard road, 313 and our last spot was to Clarke Quay. I enjoyed taking lots of pictures in clarke quay, the grill and bar was awesome, specially the clinic!! LOL....
Anyways, i'm back home safely. Lots of things to catch up on... Pictures will be loaded soon. See ya!!!
